Arte’s Bark Cloth collection is rooted in respect for nature and fair trade principles. Our 100% pure Bark Cloth is a true gift from the Mutuba fig tree (Ficus natalensis). Production begins with careful harvesting practices where the inner bark layer of the tree is collected. This bark is lovingly processed by hand, using hammers to soften and pliable the fibers. These fibers are then embellished with natural dyes and dried under the sun, always with care for the planet in mind.

What makes this collection so special is the sustainable harvesting system. After harvesting, the tree trunk is gently wrapped in protective banana leaves. When these leaves dry out naturally, the bark layer of the tree starts to grow again. This means that the tree itself is never in danger, and we can continue to enjoy the beautiful Bark Cloth without harming nature.

The 3004 design, with its handmade patchwork of natural tree bark, is truly unique and breathtaking. Each panel is randomly assembled, which creates an organic and artistic look. The deep, timeless black colour adds a touch of elegance to any interior.

Please note that wallpaper per meter and photo wallpaper are excluded from returns. Make sure that the wallpaper is unused and undamaged and in the original packaging. The costs for returning are for your own account, unless there is a defect or incorrectly delivered product.

If you order wallpaper for less than 99 euros, we charge 5.95 euros for shipping. If your order is above 99 euros, we will ship your products free of charge to the address you provided. We strive to deliver your order as soon as possible, usually within 1 to 4 business days after receipt of payment.
