Casa Batllo is a Spanish building located in Barcelona by the modernist architect Antoni Gaudi. From the outside it looks like it is made of skulls and bones. The "skulls" serve as balconies and the "bones" are the supporting pillars.

Gaudi found the inspiration for the chosen colours and shapes in the underwater world. He found the colours for the exterior in natural coral.
