This charming design originates from Knightshayes Court in Devon, built between 1869 and 1874 by the famous neo-Gothic architect and interior designer William Burges for the Heathcoat Amory family.

The whimsical pattern adorns the walls of one of the bathrooms and combines historical authenticity with playful elegance. Although the wallpaper is known as a design by Burges, it was only introduced during a later restoration, making it a special piece of neo-Gothic design history.
