Based on early 18th-century French textiles and furniture, the pattern exudes classic refinement with panels, curled decorations, and subtle cross-hatching. The design was discovered in Brodsworth Hall, South Yorkshire, an elegant Victorian estate of the Thellusson family, where it was used in both the library and the breakfast room in reversed color schemes.
